This unique Guzheng class blends traditional Chinese musical pedagogy (aligned with the Central Conservatory of Music Beijing)  standards) with music therapy techniques. Each class begins by assessing the student's emotional state, adjusting finger exercises to either uplift or calm through tempo modulation. Students learn pieces rooted in one of the Five Elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth) to harmonize their current energetic state. The class culminated in therapeutic improvisation, weaving together rhythmic motifs and finger exercises, followed by reflective journaling to deepen self-awareness.
